organizing zine

title: ORGANIZING
page I: combined blooming hearts.
page II: collectively marching we start.
page III: bullseye! like in darts.

When I was assigned to create this zine, I really did not know what the zine was going to consist of. I knew little about organizing at this point and I had not had much prior experience doing it. This was when I realized I had to take the creative route. And the more I thought about it, scrapbooking related a lot to organizing. You seem to be placing pieces together that seem like they shouldn't work, but somehow they do. This is what organizing reminded me of. It was a lot of people from all areas of life coming together and making it work.
For the first page, I wanted to point out the idea of all the love behind organizing. There must be passion and there must be heart. People who organize are giving this mission all of their love, and oftentimes that becomes draining. That is why you must have the proper support around you. Make sure there is a lot of love around you when you are feeling a little weak. That community will help bring your mindset back to the right place and remind you of why you began organizing.
And finally, hitting your target. Seeing that your organizing has paid off and the charge you wanted in this world is happening. That feeling will be unmatched by any other. That feeling would be comparatively, to hitting a bullseye!
From the little knowledge, I have slowly gathered about organizing, I have learned that it is one of the hardest things to do mentally. Organizing is not an easy job and oftentimes it becomes extremely draining. But doing it with the right people, and seeing your mission out through the end will fulfill all the void of blood, sweat, and tears.
